| Accomplishment: |
|
The Smithton girls basketball team made it to
the 2A state quarterfinals this season before bowing out to
the #1 ranked team in state Saturday. The 2007-08
Smithton squad advanced further in the state tournament than
any other girls basketball team in the school's history.
They close their 2007-08 campaign with a 26-3 record and a
51-5 record the past two seasons. Their successful two
year span includes eight tournament championships including
back-to-back district titles. |
