Smith-Cotton Outlasts Warrensburg in Battle for Silver Tiger

The Smith-Cotton Tigers defeated Warrensburg 30-27 to take back the silver Tiger trophy Friday night. Smith-Cotton avenged a narrow 21-20 loss to Warrensburg in 2010.

SC needed a late touchdown inside of two minutes for the go ahead score.

Smith-Cotton evened their record after falling to St. Pius X in week 1.  The Warriors doubled up Center 26-13 to move to 2-0 in conference and overall. 

Also in the West Central conference, O'Hara improved to 2-0 with a 28-14 win at Clinton.
