Wellington Defeats Concordia, Takes I-70 Conference Lead

The Wellington Napoleon Tigers defeated class 1 top ranked Concordia 48-32 behind Brandon Niendick's five receiving touchdowns in week 6.

Concordia led 8-0 early before Tiger's QB Jacob Beckemeyer and Niendick took control of the game.

Wellington is set to claim the top spot in the class 1 rankings and is the favorite to claim their first conference championship since 2005 when they were tri-champs.

The Tigers improve to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in I-70 action. Concordia falls to 5-1 on the season.
