Monday, April 16, 2012 09:10 AM The Holden Eagles baseball team won the State Farm Classic with a 10-4 win over Higginsville Friday.
Holden trailed 4-1 in the fifth before sending 11 batters to the plate and scoring 7 runs in the inning.
Matt Borgan pitched six innings giving up seven hits and four runs. Borgan didn't walk a batter.
Austin Tevis had two hits, Jake Bryant had a two-RBI double and Dylan Riley had an RBI double offensively for the Eagles.
The Eagles won four games in the tournament with wins over Kingsville, Lone Jack and Belton as well.
Holden improves to 9-2 overall on the season.
